Citing a Database article

A citation for a database article includes the title of the article, title of the publication, volume number, city of publication, year of publication, title of the database, and the date that you accessed the article. 
Here is an example of how to cite a database article: 
Example:
"Michael Jackson." Contemporary Musicians. Vol. 67. Detroit: Gale, 2010. Biography in Context
. Web. 25 May 2015.

Luckily, databases provide a citation ready-made for you at the bottom of each article. 

Search one of these three databases for an article about the 1980s. Then, copy and paste the citation into a Google Doc.
